Many of these resources are created by the staff of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSCNC) to help meet the ministry needs of pastors and lay leaders across the state.

‘50 Days of Prayer’ calendar
Use this “50 Days of Prayer” calendar to pray for a spiritual awakening and fervor for evangelism and discipleship that result in planting new churches throughout North Carolina. Each day will include specific prayer prompts and Bible passages for you to use during a time of devotion, individually or with others. This resource is also available in Spanish.

‘Now What?’ discipleship resource
The “Now What?” resource is a 12-week discipleship curriculum authored by Darrick Smith, senior consultant for the state convention’s Collegiate Partnerships team. This resource is designed to help new believers discover foundational biblical truths of what it means to be a follower of Jesus. The goal of these lessons is to equip new believers to take the next steps to live out those truths in a practical way.

RevitalizeNC podcast
The goal of the RevitalizeNC podcast is to address timely topics related to church health and revitalization. In each episode, host Terry Long, senior consultant for church revitalization with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, will interview a ministry leader about a topic or issue related to church revitalization. In the first installment, Chuck Lawless, vice president of spiritual formation at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, addresses the role of spiritual warfare in church health and revitalization.

‘365 Empowerment Project’
Are you up for a healthy challenge? The “365 Empowerment Project” is a yearlong journey of in-depth spiritual discipline that will challenge you to grow deeper in God’s Word. Developed by Sammy Joo, senior consultant for the state convention’s Asian ministries, your year (365 days) includes the memorization of Bible verses, reading through the Bible five times and spending one hour in prayer each day.

Family Easter devotional & ‘Resurrection Eggs’
Experience the Easter story together as a family with the “Easter Family Focus” devotional. The devotional includes 15 days of Bible reading and discussion questions for children of all ages. Also, utilize the accompanying “Resurrection Eggs” resource for younger children. It includes instructions to create your own resurrection eggs, along with additional devotions to reflect on the Easter story together.
