Breakout Sessions

Walking Worthy: The Provision of Christ – Christy Thornton

In the book of Ephesians we read several provisions granted to us in Christ: adoption, redemption, an inheritance, saving grace and the seal of the Holy Spirit. If you were to take a highlighter and mark every occurrence of ‘in Christ’, ‘in Him’, or ‘through Him’, you would see unmistakably that every provision granted us, comes from the provision gifted us, Christ, Himself. Join us as we look at the Father’s provision of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Walking Worthy: A New Identity – Christina Devlin

The call to walking worthy isn’t because of who we are or something we’ve done. For apart from Christ we were enemies of God, the very opposite of worthy! The call to walking worthy is all because of who Christ is and what He’s done to position us in His worthiness. In this breakout session we will see how the gospel is truly transformative, raising us from death to life.

Walking Worthy: A Personal Possession – Annie Locke

There is a difference between knowing about something and having personal knowledge of it. In this breakout session we will see how the gospel of Christ isn’t for mere intellectual consumption, but personal possession as we look at Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3.

Walking Worthy: Out With the Old, In With the New – Daphne Petry

Walking worthy isn’t an overnight task nor is it perfected at the snap of a finger. Walking worthy is a journey toward maturity; a journey in which we are learning daily to put off the old self and ‘put on’ Christ. In this breakout session we will look at responding to the Gospel in the way that we live.

Walking Worthy: Being An Imitator Not An Imposter – Donna Navey

Being made alive in Christ, we live for Christ! But what does living for Christ look like? How does it differ from how the world tells us to live? In this breakout session, we will consider what it means to be imitators of God, that by grace, He would be made known through us in word and deed.

Walking Worthy: Clothed for the Journey – Stevie Robertson

Walking worthy in a world that rejects Christ, can be wearisome. Imitating Christ in a fallen body can be a constant battle. We do not have the strength for the journey within ourselves. But praise God that our King walks with us, clothing us in armor to persevere well. Join us as we take a closer look at Ephesians 6.

Walking Worthy: So What? – Savanna Wood

Found in Paul’s letter to the church in Ephesus are several purpose statements answering the question, ‘so what?’. In this breakout session we will look at those statements and identify God’s purposes for His provisions, that our hearts would be drawn ever more to His good character.

Walking Worthy: Together – Meredith Snoddy

The call to walking worthy is made individually, yet journeyed in community. In this breakout session we will look at how we are to come alongside one another; building each member towards maturity in Christ as a reflection of His glory.
