Eddie & Janet Thompson

Eddie Thompson serves as the senior consultant for BSCNC’s Pastoral Ministries, and has a passion for strengthening pastors and their families. He also has considerable training and experience in biblical conflict resolution in the local church. Eddie has served as a pastor for churches in Apex, Charlotte and Monroe. He and his wife, Janet, have been married since 1981. Janet has served the body of Christ as a pastor’s wife, marriage and family trainer, worship leader and small group leader. She and Eddie have led numerous marriage and family conferences, pastor and wives retreats, and Peacemaker training events. She also works as a registered nurse in the area of cardiology. The Thompsons have two adult children and four grandchildren.

Joe & Pennie Wright

Joe and Pennie Wright speak across the nation to pastors, families and churches about the unique needs of churches with smaller attendance. They have a heart for ministers and their families, and they have dedicated themselves to the service of helping churches have healthy leadership and obedient faithfulness. The Wrights have only been married a short time due to each suffering the devastating losses of their previous spouses after long, fruitful marriages. While Joe has served as a pastor of four churches, he has been the director of missions for 18 years. Pennie has served as a pastor’s wife for 32 years, and is also a registered nurse and respiratory therapist. Their family life is filled with happiness through two sons, three daughters and 12 grandchildren.
