Embrace Leadership Network (ELN) 1.0 is an organization of women’s ministry leaders who gather for a time of learning and equipping to serve their churches and associations in the best way possible.
ELN consists of four Saturdays of intentional teaching during one calendar year. During this time of teaching, women are able not only to learn but also to meet other women’s ministry leaders and build a network of support while learning from one another.
Each ELN Saturday requires reading of three books focused on topics to be discussed during the gathering. Women’s ministry leaders who participate in ELN prepare by reading the books and preparing themselves to engage in discussion on ways to apply the material to their current ministry setting.
Teaching draws from women’s ministry leaders and others who are well-versed in the specific topics. Subjects include foundations of women’s ministry and administration; disciple-making and women; how to teach/study the Bible; engaging in Gospel conversations; working with a team; reaching the younger generations and the marginalized; and a variety of other topics for today’s women’s ministry leader.
Who can participate in ELN?
ELN 1.0 is designed for ladies who serve in women’s ministries in their local churches and associations. It does not matter your educational background, length of time in leadership, or any other factors. If you are an influencer, you are a leader. Our desire is to help equip you to serve the ladies of your church and association.
How can I apply for ELN?
Registration will open September 8, 2020 and will close January 8, 2021.
The 2021 Embrace Leadership Network will meet via Zoom until further notice.

I can truly say that participating in ELN 1.0 was a blessing — a challenging, time- and energy-consuming blessing — as is anything that is worthwhile and meaningful in this life, but definitely a blessing! Often throughout the year I struggled with whether I “fit” in a leadership role, and why I was even doing this training until, as I was reading one of the last of the 12 books, God revealed to me that I am a manager rather than a leader. The sense of freedom, peace and rightness that truth brought, along with the rest of the training from ELN 1.0, has helped me work comfortably in my role as support and hands-on helper alongside my teammate as we have worked together to grow and build up our church’s women’s ministry.
ELN has equipped me with experiences and resources that strengthened my personal leadership journey, as well as the ministries I’m involved in throughout my community. I have also enjoyed getting to fellowship and learn from my sisters in Christ. ELN is an amazing opportunity and I’m so blessed to be a part of it.
Since graduating from ELN I have been able to use the great resources about mentoring women in my life. I would encourage women to participate in this training program so that they can gain perspective from leaders across the state. It was great to have fellowship and learn from their ministry experiences.
I would encourage women to take a step out of your comfort zone and make the commitment. Make the time to read the books and dig in, to stretch yourself and expand your ministry as you network with other leaders, and glean from the amazing teaching throughout the year. You won’t be disappointed, and you won’t regret it! It is a blessing, an encouragement and a game changer for women’s discipleship. Women across our state are blessed to have this resource opportunity.
The Embrace Leadership Network is a fantastic opportunity to be equipped, learn and network with other women leaders from around the state. The focused study has helped me grow in my knowledge and practice of not only women’s ministry but in all areas of life. The topics studied are relevant and immediately applicable. I have not found any other training that is so comprehensive outside of a formal education setting.
Being involved with the women’s ministry Embrace Leadership Network was an awesome experience. It afforded me the opportunity to interact with other women from different backgrounds. The selected materials were eye-opening as we shared during our discussions, allowing us to understand how different experiences bring different interpretations. I was encouraged during this time to make an effort to encourage other women. My take away from Embrace Leadership Network is to be “intentional” in my witness and as a mentor! I am humbled to be a part of Embrace Leadership Network.
