Coats for the City

Short Description: Coats for the City shares the love of Jesus by providing warm coats and the gospel to residents of New York City each December. N.C. Baptists have partnered with the Metropolitan New York Baptist Association (MNYBA) in this effort for eight years. Working with churches across New York City, we desire to distribute coats along with a Bible or Jesus film in the language of every recipient. Participants can partner by helping with the collection and donation of coats and/or going and assisting with the distribution of coats in New York.

Donation Needs: Currently, the biggest need is for coats to be donated. You can bring coats to the Annual Meeting or at any of our donation sites.
Cost: Teams are responsible for their own travel (we can assist) and will be provided with housing options.

Short Description: Working with North Carolina and missionaries on the field doing a cultural exchange with English teaching in the schools and then breaking fast in the evening with local families. This trip will take place during Ramadan so teams will need to fast during the daylight hours.
