EVAN BLACKERBY

Senior Consultant, College Partnerships

Evan Blackerby joined the Collegiate Partnerships team as a consultant in 2013. Before serving with the BSCNC, Evan served in various ministry roles, including youth ministry, young adult ministry and as a worship pastor.

He also served in campus ministry at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro since 2009. There, Evan developed his role as a leader of leaders. He became passionate for the local church and its ability to multiply and make disciples who make disciples.

Evan earned his education at UNC-Greensboro and Rockbridge Seminary. He was ordained by New Horizon Church in Greensboro in 2005.

Since 2006, Evan has been married to Heather. They have three children, Jude, Lucy and Oliver. The family resides in High Point, where they planted Multiply Church, a missional community church with a vision of multiplying churches throughout High Point and beyond.
