Top 5 resources for September 2020

September 1, 2020

Every month, we spotlight five helpful resources for you as you seek to walk closely with the Lord and make disciples. Many of these resources are created by the staff of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSCNC) to help meet the ministry needs of pastors and lay leaders across the state.

Check out this month’s roundup of resources which include ways to promote this year’s North Carolina Missions Offering, a Pray for 30 Days prayer guide, how to film a “3 Circles” training video and the Faith Talks Family devotional.

In addition to the resources featured here, many more can be found at ncbaptist.org/resources. You may also follow @ncbaptist on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, where we’ll share other helpful resources throughout the month.

How you can be an advocate for life

Throughout Scripture, God demonstrates that He has a particular love for orphans. Psalm 68:5 tells us, “A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy habitation.” The brother of Jesus Christ, James, informs his readers in his epistle that orphan care is a...
