And he was facing other issues in life and at home.

Relearning fatherhood

Most guys will admit that they had no idea what fatherhood entailed before becoming fathers, but it was even harder for Chuck because he didn’t have the advantage of a true role model. And he was facing other issues in life and at home.

But when Chuck encountered Jesus and learned the gospel, he discovered that we have a perfect Father, who is faithful, patient and loves us unconditionally.

“I’ve spent a long time condemning myself for my sin and have more recently been learning about God and really trying to embrace grace for what it is and not for anything in me, but for who God is,» Chuck says. «And I think that that’s something I’ve passed to my kids.”
