Sydney is from Columbus, Ohio, and graduated from The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in International Studies. She then joined her church’s staff and served there for more than three years. That’s where her passion for the local church as God’s plan A to reach students, cities and the nations grew. As an Ohio native, most of Sydney’s current hobbies, like reading and baking bread, are consistent with being landlocked by flat farmland, but she is excited to do more hiking with her husband, John Mark, in North Carolina.
