Every month, we spotlight five helpful resources for you as you seek to walk closely with the Lord and make disciples. Many of these resources are created by the staff of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSCNC) to help meet the ministry needs of pastors and lay leaders across the state.
Check out this month’s roundup which includes a family devotional for Advent and a prayer guide for the month of January. Also included is a brand new Bible study for women and another to help families be on mission. Finally, we offer a collection of resources from Annual Meeting.
In addition to the resources featured here, many more can be found at ncbaptist.org/resources. You may also follow @ncbaptist on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, where we’ll share other helpful resources throughout the month.

The guide is designed to be used as part of a special prayer emphasis during the month of January. The guide includes daily descriptions of unreached people and pockets of lostness along with accompanying prayer points and tips for engagement. You may also sign up to receive daily text messages and email prayer prompts. Join us this January as we pray together and go together.

Annual Meeting resources
N.C. Baptists commissioned more than 100 church planters and were called to prioritize personal evangelism during the 189th Annual Meeting, held Nov. 11-12 in Greensboro. The meeting theme was “God’s Great Work,” which emphasized the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. A collection of videos from this year’s meeting is now available, which includes the church planting commissioning service, as well as messages from state convention President Steve Scoggins, Executive Director-Treasurer Milton A. Hollifield Jr., and Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee President and CEO Ronnie Floyd. In addition, audio recordings from many of the breakout sessions are being released through the N.C. Baptist podcast.
