Because of today’s culture and the influence it can have on our lives, many of us don’t know what it means or looks like to disciple our children. Below are some simple starting points for you to begin discipling your children and teenagers.
- Read the Bible together daily.
- Curate faith-based conversations often.
- Use Scripture throughout daily conversations.
- Implement devotional resources provided by your local church.
- Discuss family values while watching a T.V. show.
- Listen to Christian music together.
- Invite your children to pray at mealtimes.
- Regularly attend church together.
- Make a habit of serving your community as a family.
- Allow your children to see your personal daily devotional time.
- Share your personal testimony with your family.
- Think of practical ways to bless your children.
- Pray with your children throughout the day such as before school, at bedtime or before a big game.
