No Passport Needed
This downloadable resource by the Collegiate Partnerships Team offers some insights related to how you and your church can engage international students. One idea is to turn your family’s Thanksgiving meal into an international gathering or for your church to host a Thanksgiving banquet for international students. Thanksgiving allows us to talk about giving thanks to God, American history and family traditions.

Lottie Moon prayer emphasis
Starting in 1888, the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering (LMCO) was established to empower the international missions efforts for Southern Baptists. Your giving enables missionaries to be sent and make disciples and multiply churches among unreached peoples and places for the glory of God. The International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention has developed a number of resources to assist you and your church in the promotion of this year’s offering. Resources include a leader guide, promotional videos and prayer prompts for the eight-day week of prayer for the offering, scheduled for Dec. 2-9. Learn more at imb.org/lmco.

Embrace Abiding Journal
This downloadable resource is a great tool to help you understand what abiding in Jesus looks like. Written by Juliann Jantz, a graduate student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, the Abiding Journal unpacks John 15 over the course of 32 days. Use the journal to write out the points of the passage, what you have learned about God’s character and how you can apply the passage to your life.
