Starting this Sunday, Sept. 1, N.C. Baptists will be joining together to pray over the work and ministries supported by the North Carolina Missions Offering (NCMO).

September marks the primary emphasis month for the NCMO, a special offering that brings relief to those in need, helps plant churches and mobilizes N.C. Baptists for missions. The goal for this year’s offering is $2.6 million, which will go to support the work of Baptists on Mission, SendNC and local associational ministries.

The theme for this year is “Relief for Today. Hope for Tomorrow.” and is based on Romans 15:13: “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” By contributing to the NCMO, N.C. Baptists have the opportunity to provide hope to those who feel hopeless while addressing the real needs of those who may be suffering.

Below are some suggested daily prayer points for individuals and churches as the NCMO emphasis season begins. These prayer points are also available at ncmissionsoffering.org/prayer. For more information and resources related to the NCMO, visit ncmissionsoffering.org.
