Myoung Cheon Ko has served in pastoral ministry for nearly two decades, including as lead pastor of The Connect Church in Cary, N.C. and as education pastor at Fayetteville Korean Baptist Church and RTP Global Mission Church in Durham.

Ko holds a bachelor’s degree in Law and Business from Handong Global University (South Korea), a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, a master’s degree in religious education from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and a Master of Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, specializing in Leadership and Family Ministry.

He has supported church planters for six years through coaching and facilitation with SendNC. He loves coffee and being teachable, and lives by his lifetime Bible verse: Matthew 6:33 — “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.”

He is originally from South Korea. He is married to Grace Ko and they have three sons.
