Evette came to know Jesus as Savior at 8 years old. In college she accepted a call to full-time ministry and has spent the last 30 years serving in the local church. She has served Central Church in Wendell over the last 24 years in various roles: children’s minister, church administrator, weekday preschool director, school administrator and director of operations.

Evette is a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, with a Master of Divinity in Christian Education, and a graduate of Appalachian State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Communications. She and her husband have two sons. She has a motorcycle and enjoys riding with her family.
