J. Allen Murray is pastor of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Supply, N.C. and serves as the president of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. He and his wife, Hope, have two daughters. Murray is originally from Wilmington, N.C. and has pastored multiple churches in North Carolina prior to serving as lead pastor at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Murray is currently pursuing a master of divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, N.C. He has also studied at the College at Southeastern and at Fruitland Baptist Bible College in Hendersonville, N.C.
