Ralph Garay serves as the international church planting strategist for the Ministry Strategies group. He has been on staff at the Baptist state convention since September 2006.

Ralph is originally from the Philippines and immigrated with his wife, Anna Lyn, to the United States in June 1995.

Ralph’s mission in life is to develop an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ every day, to grow in his capacity to love his wife and his two sons, and to lead and develop his family in serving God. He desires to bring people to Jesus Christ, connect them in His family, disciple them to Christ-like maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the church and in their life mission in order to honor God.

Ralph lives to be an encouragement to other pastors and church leaders through coaching, training and resourcing in order to help them fulfill their God-given purposes. He wants to help church planters plant new churches that will advance the gospel to reach every nation in our generation.

Ralph received his bachelor’s degree in theology at Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary in Baquio City, Philippines, in 1987. He then pastored a Filipino-American church in San Diego for 11 years.
