Each September, N.C. Baptist churches give to fuel missions across our state and beyond through the North Carolina Missions Offering. Discover how your church can be part of “Living Sent” by giving, praying and making a tangible impact for the gospel.

Every fall, churches across North Carolina join together in generosity and mission through the North Carolina Missions Offering (NCMO). Here’s what you need to know about this vital effort to support gospel ministry across our state and beyond.

North Carolina Baptists have long been leaders in missions giving. In 2024, N.C. Baptists gave more than $13 million to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for international missions and more than $7 million to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering to support church planting in North America. We are committed to reaching the lost with the hope of Christ.

In the same spirit, churches unite each September to give to the NCMO, supporting ministries like disaster relief, church planting and missions projects through local associations. It’s a powerful way to be on mission together and to “live sent.”

This year’s theme is “Living Sent,” based on John 20:21: “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, I also send you.”

Every time a volunteer responds after a hurricane, or a new church takes root in a growing community, we are living sent — so that more people can know the love and hope found in Jesus Christ. Your gifts to the NCMO fuel this mission by equipping believers to meet both physical and spiritual needs across North Carolina and beyond.

To help you learn more about this special missions giving emphasis, here are answers to frequently asked questions about the NCMO.

What is the NCMO?

The North Carolina Missions Offering is a special annual offering that funds key ministries across our state, from disaster relief and mobile medical units to church planting and associational mission efforts.

What ministries does the NCMO support?

  • Baptists on Mission – Supports disaster relief, rebuild centers, mission camps, medical and dental buses, and more. In western North Carolina, families remain displaced from their homes following Hurricane Helene. Your gifts help volunteers meet urgent housing needs.
  • SendNC Church Planting – Helps launch new churches in strategic areas across North Carolina.
  • Associational Missions – A percentage of each gift is returned to local Baptist associations to fuel regional missions efforts.

Here’s a breakdown of NCMO giving percentages:

What’s the goal this year?
