From VBS to agriculture projects, Baptists on Mission partnerships open doors for everyday gospel impact around the world. Your gifts to the North Carolina Missions Offering make it possible for N.C. Baptists to serve alongside churches here and abroad.

“Living Sent” means showing and sharing the love of Jesus in everyday moments — across the street or across the globe. Through partnerships with Baptists on Mission (BOM), North Carolina Baptists have opportunities to live this out in practical ways, serving through Vacation Bible School (VBS), medical outreach, evangelism, construction projects, agricultural missions and more.

These partnerships connect N.C. Baptist churches to needs both in the U.S. and internationally. Churches send teams to help host kids’ Bible studies, teach English lessons, lead crafts, work in community gardens and more. They come alongside local churches to reach their communities for Christ in their unique contexts.

“When you come to Armenia and our people see you, you already make a difference,” said Asatur Nehapetyan, president of the Baptist Union of Armenia. “Seeing you is already a big help. We are alone in Armenia. Politically, wars and conflict left us alone. We need you to be next to us.”

In Moldova, volunteers’ support has also left a lasting impression.

“I feel that we became a part of the same team,” said Lina Botnari of the Baptist Union of Moldova.

Partnerships like these help N.C. Baptists bring encouragement and the hope of the gospel to places where it’s desperately needed. Your gifts to the North Carolina Missions Offering (NCMO) make these efforts possible, fueling long-term partnerships, equipping volunteers and sending teams to serve.

The NCMO helps fund the ministries of Baptists on Mission, church planting through SendNC and missions efforts through local associations. This year’s theme is “Living Sent,” based on John 20:21: “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, I also send you.” The theme highlights seeing a need, responding to it and offering hope in Jesus’ name.

The 2025 NCMO goal is $2.6 million. Whether you give as an individual or through your church, every gift makes a difference.
