Registration is now open for the 2026 Disciple-Making Conference, and N.C. Baptists across the state are gearing up for an impactful day of equipping and encouragement.

On Feb. 24, 2026, pastors, ministry leaders and church members will gather in Charlotte at Hickory Grove Baptist Church (Mallard Creek Campus) to grow as disciple-makers who can reach, train, send and serve on mission together.

This one-day event brings together experienced ministry leaders to help churches multiply and mobilize disciples with biblical clarity and practical tools.

The conference will feature a full lineup of breakout sessions addressing key ministry needs, from missions mobilization and family discipleship to church communications, pastoral health and more. Through these sessions, attendees can explore how to engage every generation with the gospel and navigate today’s cultural moment with confidence.

“The annual Disciple-Making Conference exists to help every church engage every generation with the gospel,” said Drew Dabbs, N.C. Baptist disciple ministry strategist. “We’re praying that this year’s conference will help leaders in your church meet our cultural moment with gospel confidence and boldness.”

Participants will hear from keynote speakers Landon Dowden, lead pastor of Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula, Ga., and Mark Matlock, senior fellow at Barna. Dowden also serves as associate professor of preaching and pastoral ministry at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has held several denominational roles at associational, state and national levels. Matlock helps organizations turn data and research into strategic action. His research with Barna provides insight into reaching the next generation and faithful discipleship.

With compelling worship, clear preaching and a wide range of breakout opportunities, there’s something on the schedule for every leader in your church.

The Disciple-Making Conference will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m. Doors open at 8 a.m. Registration is $15 per person and includes lunch and a resource bundle.
