Join us at the ballpark for an evening of food, fun and fellowship on Monday, June 10 from 8-10 p.m. at Victory Field, right across from the Indiana Convention Center. Test your arm at the speed pitching booth or just grab a popcorn and hang out with friends. We are a movement of churches on mission together, and we can’t wait to see you in Indianapolis!

This year’s event is also in partnership with the John Powell Memorial Toss.

John Powell Memorial Toss
Monday, June 10, 2024 at 8 p.m.
Victory Memorial Field (Indianapolis Indians)

It’s a simple gathering: We play catch in honor of John Powell, a great husband, father, friend and church planter who lost his life heroically saving others in 2020. The Toss is open to anyone attending the SBC. Even if you didn’t know John, please come to connect with friends in ministry for a refreshing time of conversation and catch.

Who’s invited?

Anyone attending the 2024 SBC Annual Meeting in Indianapolis, In.

Is there a program or schedule for the event?

This will be a fun, come-and-go style event with ballpark snacks, outdoor games and light programming to hear greetings from Baptist leaders in attendance.

Should I bring a ball and glove?

You are welcome to bring a glove to play catch with friends. Baseballs will be provided.

Do I need to purchase tickets to a baseball game?

There is no baseball game scheduled for Monday, June 10 at Victory Field. You do not have to purchase a ticket.
