Mike Pittman serves as the SendNC Director for the Ministry Strategies group. He has been on staff at the Baptist State Convention since February 2019.

Elisa Nguyen

Ministry Assistant, Ministry Strategies Group

Elisa Nguyen serves as a ministry assistant with the Ministry Strategies group. She has been on staff at the Baptist state convention since February 2024.

Elisa grew up in Israel before moving to Virginia to pursue a degree in family and child development at Liberty University. There she met her husband, Nathan who currently works at Summit Church leading worship. Shortly after getting married, they both served at Second Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.

Before joining the Baptist state convention, Elisa worked in healthcare provider enrollment as well as managed night shifts at Crumbl.

Elisa is excited about her role at the Baptist State Convention and looks forward to seeing God move in and through the churches of North Carolina.
