The Cooperative Program provides the fuel for reaching every person with the gospel of Jesus Christ in every town, every city, every state and every nation. The Baptist State Convention of North Carolina has developed a resource for you and your church to raise awareness of all the ways churches are ministering and sharing the gospel across the state, nation and world through the Cooperative Program.
The “52 Sundays” resource provides a way for churches to unite in weekly prayer for different missionaries and ministries serving around the world, throughout North America and across North Carolina.
This resource helps put a “face” with those missionaries and ministries that are sharing Christ and providing hope and healing to a lost world. Every Sunday, your church can learn about and pray for these individuals by using “52 Sundays.” After all, they are “your” missionaries because you support them through the Cooperative Program.
After all, they are “your” missionaries because you support them through the Cooperative Program.
The resource also features some of the N.C. Baptist ministries that are supported through the Cooperative Program. Consider devoting time during your church’s gatherings to learn about and pray for all that God is doing here in North Carolina. In addition to English, we also have a Spanish version of this resource available.
The “52 Sundays” material may be downloaded by visiting ncbaptist.org/52sundays. Resources include:
- PowerPoint slides (16×9 and 4×3) for use in church services that include information on 52 different international, North American or North Carolina missionaries.
- Prayer points for each missionary.
- Bulletin inserts, both a standard and a printer-friendly version, to print for each Sunday.
