NCMO is an annual offering that helps support the work of North Carolina missionaries, church planters, disaster relief workers and other ministries throughout the state. By giving to NCMO, N.C. Baptists are able to fuel missions efforts that extend across North Carolina and around the world.
Every September, churches across North Carolina unite to give generously to missions through the North Carolina Missions Offering (NCMO). This year is no exception.
NCMO is an annual offering that helps support the work of North Carolina missionaries, church planters, disaster relief workers and other ministries throughout the state. By giving to NCMO, N.C. Baptists are able to fuel missions efforts that extend across North Carolina and around the world.
The theme for this year’s offering is again “Relief for today. Hope for tomorrow.” This theme is based upon Romans 15:13, which says, “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (CSB).
Your gift to NCMO provides relief for today and hope for tomorrow to those who need it most. Because of the generosity of N.C. Baptists, thousands are able to hear the message of the gospel while receiving care for their immediate needs.
As you and your church consider giving to NCMO, know that your gift goes to support the following ministries:
- Baptists on Mission: By giving to NCMO, you have the opportunity to support Baptists on Mission, which enables Baptists to serve communities through disaster relief work, mobile and dental bus ministries, mission camps, rebuild centers and much more.
- SendNC church planting: Gifts to NCMO support new church plants throughout North Carolina through the work of SendNC.
- Associational missions: A percentage of your gift will return to your local Baptist association to support mission projects in your own backyard.
When you give to NCMO, you are offering relief for today, hope for tomorrow. Consider making a contribution to this year’s NCMO by visiting ncmissionsoffering.org/give.
