Every month, we spotlight five helpful resources for you as you seek to walk closely with the Lord and make disciples. Many of these resources are created by the staff of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSCNC) to help meet the ministry needs of pastors and lay leaders across the state.

This brand new resource seeks to equip women’s ministry leaders to help survivors of sexual abuse. Topics include how to determine the classification of the information that is shared with you; how to report the information; how to listen and provide counsel; how to train the leaders within your women’s ministry; how to refer to a counselor.

Pray Together. Go Together.
This new 30-day prayer guide was created to help us see the unreached people and least-reached places across our state. The guide is designed to be used as part of a special prayer emphasis during the month of January. The guide includes daily descriptions of unreached people and pockets of lostness along with accompanying prayer points and tips for engagement. You may also sign up to receive daily text messages and email prayer prompts. Join us this January as we pray together and go together.

Advent Family Devotions
Just in time for the Christmas season, this new Advent devotional can be customized to fit your family’s busy schedule. Commit to take your family through 25 daily devotions focused on the coming of Jesus Christ into the world. You may choose to take 15 minutes daily or you may want to condense the devotions into a weekly extended time.

Pray for 30 Days Devotionals
This year marked the eighth consecutive year that N.C. Baptists have united to pray for revival and spiritual awakening during the month of October using the special “Pray for 30 Days” devotional guides. Although the annual prayer emphasis is held in October, the guides are designed to be used at any time throughout the year. Access this year’s guide or previous editions at prayfor30days.org.
