Every month, we spotlight five helpful resources for you as you seek to walk closely with the Lord and make disciples. Many of these resources are created by the staff of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSCNC) to help meet the ministry needs of pastors and lay leaders across the state.

Hurricane Florence Disaster Relief

Baptists have historically been some of the strongest respondents to natural disasters. With the recent impact of Hurricane Florence, see  the many ways that you and your church can answer the call of duty to love and support those in need. You may make a donation through the Baptists on Mission website. Additionally, gifts to the North Carolina Missions Offering also support ongoing disaster relief efforts by Baptists on Mission. Relief and recovery efforts will include clean up, damage assessments, feeding, home repair and rebuild, and more. You may register to volunteerthrough the Baptists on Mission website.

Pray for 30 days

Pray for 30 Days is an annual prayer emphasis observed during October leading up to the convention’s Annual Meeting. The biblical basis for this year’s prayer guide is Luke 10:29, “Who is my neighbor?” Join us as we pray for revival and spiritual awakening across our state, nation and world. Use these devotions to assist believers as they seek Christ personally and corporately for revival and spiritual awakening. For daily prayer prompts delivered directly to your cell phone, text “Pray30Days” to 313131. Sign up for daily emails by clicking here. For a Spanish option click here.

Mission of God

The Mission of God Bible study series walks through Scripture, showing God’s desire to see all people groups come to faith in Jesus Christ. With discussion questions included, the study may be used for small groups, a teaching series for Sunday or Wednesday nights, or as an enhancement to a pastor’s personal study of the mission of God.

Undivided

We’re divided along party lines, poverty lines and, especially, racial lines. That division has crept into our churches as well. But that’s not how God designed the Church. We are meant to be an undivided example in a divided world. In this free, five-week video series and discussion guide developed by the North American Mission Board, pastors J.D. Greear and Dhati Lewis unpack what it looks like to move your church toward genuine gospel community across racial lines.

Faith at Home: Equipping Families to Make Disciples

The church and the home have the potential to be the most viable and influential institutions for discipling kids when both work together as a team. The Baptist State Convention of North Carolina’s Faith at Home Ministry desires to see parents in every congregation be the primary disciple-makers of their homes. This free downloadable book aims to empower the family to make disciples in the home.
