ESL Teacher Training Workshop

Friday, July 31st - Saturday, August 1st, 2026

Register

English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are a great way to meet a felt need among internationals in our communities while providing a foundation for friendship and gospel proclamation. This training is for individuals who want to be equipped to teach ESL to impact lostness in their community.

Dates & Times:

The 12-hour class will be offered as an in-person training spread across two sessions:

Session 1: Friday, July 31 • 6 p.m. – 9:15 p.m.
Session 2: Saturday, Aug. 1 • 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Attendance at both sessions is required in order to earn a certificate of completion.

Materials Needed
The training will cover material from the TELL (“Teaching English Language Learners the Good News”) Manual, an ESL manual by NAMB/Send Relief. The manual can be downloaded for free as a PDF file, or low-cost physical copies can be purchased at the time of registration.

Cost
$50 – The registration fee helps offset the in-person gathering expenses and expresses gratitude for the facilitator.

Ministry Assistant, Ministry Strategies Group

Anna Rambeaut serves as a ministry assistant with the Ministry Strategies group.

Anna grew up in Angier, North Carolina. She previously served with the Baptist state convention as a summer staff member with BeDoTell, the state convention’s youth evangelism and discipleship ministry.

Anna and her husband, Blake, live in Holly Springs and attend The Summit Church, where she serves on the worship team. In her free time, she enjoys shooting wedding photography, being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
