Every month, we spotlight five helpful resources for you as you seek to walk closely with the Lord and make disciples. Many of these resources are created by the staff of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSCNC) to help meet the ministry needs of pastors and lay leaders across the state.

“On Mission Together” is the theme of the 2021 Baptist State Convention of North Carolina’s (BSCNC) annual meeting, scheduled for Nov. 8-9 at the Joseph S. Koury Convention Center in Greensboro. This website includes information about the meeting and resources for messengers and others planning to attend.

‘Fill the Tank’ resources
“Fill the Tank” is a statewide emphasis to see believers baptized on Sept. 12 around the world. God is already moving in the hearts of new believers throughout our state, calling people to Himself. ‘Becoming a Church that Cares Well for the Abused’
“Becoming a Church that Cares Well for the Abused” is a training curriculum developed by the Southern Baptist Convention’s (SBC) Sexual Abuse Advisory Group and the SBC’s Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission in partnership with LifeWay Christian Resources. This resource brings together top experts from various fields to help leaders understand and implement best practices for handling a variety of abuse scenarios at church, school or in ministry.

‘Faith Talk Family Devotions’
The “Faith Talk Family Devotions” gives you access to 24 fun, easy-to-use devotions as you go throughout your day. Twenty church leaders from across North Carolina contributed to this great resource to help you have meaningful and spiritual conversations with your children. Additionally, this resource is accessible through the “NC Baptist” mobile app.

‘Manual for Discovery and Engagement’
God has brought the nations to North Carolina. As His people, we are to be obedient in reaching those whom He is bringing to us with the gospel.
