Every month, we spotlight five helpful resources for you as you seek to walk closely with the Lord and make disciples. Many of these resources are created by the staff of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSCNC) to help meet the ministry needs of pastors and lay leaders across the state.
Check out this month’s roundup which includes a prayer guide for the month of January. Also included is a devotional for families to become more missional, as well as the 2019 Book of Reports and a 2020 Bible-reading challenge. Finally, we offer a collection of resources from Annual Meeting from articles to videos and podcasts.
In addition to the resources featured here, many more can be found at ncbaptist.org/resources. You may also follow @ncbaptist on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, where we’ll share other helpful resources throughout the month.
Pray Together. Go Together.
This new 30-day prayer guide was created to help us see the unreached people and least-reached places across our state. The guide is designed to be used as part of a special prayer emphasis during the month of January. The guide includes daily descriptions of unreached people groups and pockets of lostness along with accompanying prayer points and tips for engagement. You may also sign up to receive daily text messages and email prayer prompts. Join us this January as we pray together and go together.

2020 Bible Reading Challenge
Developed by the 19th-century Scottish minister, Robert Murray M’Cheyne, this Bible-reading plan takes readers through the New Testament and Psalms twice a year, and through the rest of the Bible once each year. Friends or small group members can encourage one another by committing together to the 2020 Bible Reading Challenge. This plan is being used by the Baptist state convention’s Embrace women’s ministry to encourage women across North Carolina to read the Bible in 2020.
