Check out this month’s roundup, which includes a Christmas family devotional for Advent and a prayer guide for the month of January. Also included is a brand new “Pockets of Lostness” map to identify lost and unreached peoples in North Carolina. Finally, we offer a collection of resources from our “Reimagine” project website and videos from the 2020 annual meeting.

Every month, we spotlight five helpful resources for you as you seek to walk closely with the Lord and make disciples. Many of these resources are created by the staff of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSCNC) to help meet the ministry needs of pastors and lay leaders across the state.

‘Pray Together. Go Together.’
This 30-day prayer guide was created to help us see the unreached people and least-reached places across our state. The guide is designed to be used as part of a special prayer emphasis during the month of January. The guide includes daily descriptions of unreached people groups and pockets of lostness, along with accompanying prayer points and tips for engagement. You may also sign up to receive daily text messages and email prayer prompts. Join us this January as we pray together and go together.

Developed by the 19th-century Scottish minister, Robert Murray M’Cheyne, this Bible reading plan takes readers through the New Testament and Psalms twice a year, and through the rest of the Bible once each year. Friends or small group members can encourage one another by committing together to the 2021 Bible reading challenge. Consider taking this challenge and let us know on social media how you plan to read the Bible in 2021.
