Baptism Sunday Resources
We are calling all North Carolina Baptist churches to emphasize baptism on Easter Sunday as part of Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) President J.D. Greear’s challenge to SBC churches. This resource by the North American Mission Board includes a planning guide and answers some of the pertinent questions related to baptisms such as: Is baptizing someone on the spot just a gimmick? How do I call people to an immediate response of baptism? And at what age should a child be baptized?

First Impressions Church Walk-Thru Resource
Have you ever wondered what a visitor’s first impressions were of your church? Our childhood ministry has developed this interactive Church Walk-Thru Guide that asks important questions that place you in the shoes of a first-time guest. Many visitors make a decision whether or not to return even before they participate in worship. Giving a positive first experience is crucial to reaching and retaining visitors even before they pass through your church’s doors. You still have time to do a walk-thru of your church before this Easter!

Protecting Our Children
Churches can be held responsible for actions they do and do not take when it comes to children’s ministry. This Protecting Our Children booklet meets or exceeds the expectations for North Carolina child care regulations. To receive further training and instruction in this critical area, make plans to attend one of our upcoming workshops titled Safety and Security in Your Ministry Context. These trainings are being held throughout the state all year long. Join us at the location nearest you. Learn more at ncbaptist.org/safetyandsecurity.
