We want to see every N.C. Baptist church actively reaching people for Christ — both in their local communities and across the nation. We will help the local church with missions engagement through strategizing, mobilizing, caring and connecting.
How are you engaging in missions?
Take the easy Missions Engagement assessment for your church and get easy next steps, resources and support.
Strategize
- Discover where your N.C. Baptist church is on the mission’s engagement pathway and identify your next steps. Begin by connecting with your regional catalyst.
- Partner with the International Mission Board, Baptists on Mission and other like-minded missions groups to catalyze global missions engagement.
- Join a Missions Roundtables: Connecting Hearts for Kingdom Impact event hosted specifically for missions pastors and leaders to strategize with IMB affinity leaders.
Mobilize
- Send the church to the nations by facilitating mission opportunities locally and globally.
- Mission Trips
- Coats for the City
- ServeNC
- Go 2 Years: Engaging the next generation to live on mission
Care
- Facilitate a statewide culture of care to meet the needs of every N.C. Baptist missionary.
- Give to N.C. Baptists to continue caring for missionaries and promote Lottie Moon.
Connect
- Connect every church to a missionary and every missionary to a church.
- Churches can start by asking their regional catalyst to help them identify their missionaries.
- Distribute Praying for Missionaries resources to align hearts to missions engagement at PrayNC.org and in the N.C. Baptist mobile app.
- Raise awareness of Unreached People Groups with sources like Joshua Project.
