Every month, we spotlight five helpful resources for you as you seek to walk closely with the Lord and make disciples. Many of these resources are created by the staff of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSCNC) to help meet the ministry needs of pastors and lay leaders across the state.
This month’s resources feature an assessment for revitalization in your church, a resource on how to have your whole church involved in Vacation Bible School and a bookmark to aid inductive Bible study. Furthermore, this top five includes a study on what it means to be a servant of God and free access to an online classroom focused on equipping your Sunday School class or small group.
In addition to the resources featured here, many more can be found at ncbaptist.org/resources. You may also follow @ncbaptist on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, where we’ll share other helpful resources throughout the month.
‘Revitalization Assessment’ tool
Many congregations feel an uneasiness concerning their effectiveness in making disciples. Leaders often feel overwhelmed and are not sure where to begin when it comes to revitalization. This resource provides a starting point for the revitalization process, as it includes a survey to be used with leadership in order to determine the current reality of the congregation.
