The experience of hundreds of congregations and their leaders confirms that what is done in the transitional period between the departure of one pastor and the calling of another greatly influences the formation of a solid ministry team with the new pastor and the church family.
Transitional Interim Ministry Training
Transitional Interim Ministry training seeks to equip pastors and church leaders to help churches make the most of this transitional time period. During this training, you will be provided effective tools that can be used by either a traditional or a transitional interim pastor, as well as the pastor search committee. The training is two days, from 9 am to 5 pm each day, with lunch provided. The $75 registration fee covers meals, snacks and materials.

Church Job Matching
The BSCNC desires to help connect pastors and leaders with ministry opportunities in churches. We do this through the Sharing System which allows individuals seeking employment with a church or churches seeking to hire leaders to connect with one another. If you have any questions or if you are interested in placing a job opening for your church, please contact [email protected]. If you interested in interim preaching positions, please contact your local Baptist association.
A church’s Pastor Search Committee has a very important role in shaping the church’s future direction. We want to help you have the resources you need. Bob Lowman, Executive Director of the Metrolina Baptist Association has written Pastor Search, A Prayer Driven Process. We believe you will appreciate the suggested processes, procedures and resources in this manual. Click the link to the right to download now.
